  • 1/4 cup fruit juice or broth
  • 1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a small saucepan, combine fruit juice or broth, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and Dijon mustard. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then simmer for about 10-15 minutes until thickened.
  3. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper. Place skin-side down on an oiled wire rack set over a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes. When nearly done, brush the tops with the glaze and broil for 30 seconds, watching carefully.
