  • 1 large egg + 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pie dough and chill it for at least 2 hours.
  2. Boil sweet potatoes until tender, then peel and mash.
  3. Mix the mashed sweet potatoes with butter, brown sugar, fruit juice, eggs, flour, and spices.
  4. Spread the filling into the prepared crust.
