  • 1 medium Yellow Onion
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/3 cup Self-Rising Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Crab Base
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 cup Cooking Apple Juice
  • 1/2 cup Half and Half
  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • 1 pound Crab Meat
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients by washing and chopping the fennel, celery, and onion.
  2. In a large pot or Dutch oven, melt butter over medium heat. Add the chopped vegetables and sauté until softened (about 5-7 minutes).
