  • 3 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent roll sheets
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 tablespoon chives (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
  • 3 cups mild cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted) for topping
  • Kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix softened butter, chives, and garlic until combined. Fold in 2 cups of shredded cheddar.
  3. On a floured surface, unroll crescent roll dough into rectangles and roll out with a pin.
  4. Spread cheesy filling on each rectangle; roll tightly into logs and cut into 6 pieces.
  5. Place cut-side up in a greased muffin tin and brush with melted butter mixed with garlic and chives; sprinkle with salt.
