  • 1 yellow onion (sliced into rings)

  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

  • 1½ cups mild cheddar cheese (shredded)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and spray an 8×8-inch casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Layer sliced potatoes and onions in the dish.
  3. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and salt for one minute, then gradually whisk in milk until thickened.
