  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 large egg (room temperature)
  • ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ⅔ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 12 Oreos (broken into pieces)
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  2. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients while mixing on low speed; scrape down sides as needed.
  5. Fold in broken Oreos and mini chocolate chips using a spatula.
  6. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  8. Scoop dough onto prepared sheets, spacing them at least 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden brown; let cool on sheets before serving.
