  • 3/4 cup dill pickle juice
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup corn starch
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • cayenne pepper (pinch)
  • oil (for frying)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp. BBQ sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon pickle juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together dill pickle juice, milk, and egg. Add chicken tenders and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Combine corn starch, flour, garlic powder, paprika, seasoning salt, and cayenne pepper in a separate bowl.
  3. Remove chicken from marinade and dredge each piece in the coating mixture until fully covered.
  4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan to about 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry chicken tenders in batches for about 6 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.
