  • 8 slices white sandwich bread
  • softened cream cheese (or Nutella)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 heaping teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • butter (for greasing the pan)

  1. Cut crusts off bread slices and flatten each with a rolling pin.
  2. Place 1-2 teaspoons of filling near one end and roll tightly.
  3. Whisk eggs and milk together in a shallow bowl.
  4. Mix sugar and cinnamon in another shallow bowl.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat with melted butter.
  6. Dip each roll in the egg mixture and cook seam-side down for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Roll in cinnamon sugar immediately after cooking.
