Funeral Potatoes are a creamy and cheesy potato casserole that is sure to be a hit at your next gathering or family dinner.   • 1/3 cup butter (melted)
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 24 ounces frozen hash browns (diced, thawed)
  • ½ cup butter (melted)
  • 3 cups corn flakes (slightly crushed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, salt, and onion powder until well combined.
  3. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and thawed diced hash browns until evenly mixed.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. In another bowl, combine melted butter with crushed corn flakes and stir until coated.
  6. Spoon the corn flake mixture on top of the potato mixture.
  7. Bake uncovered for about 45 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
