Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds sirloin steak (or ribeye/strip steak)
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 45 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Allow the steak to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. Cut into 1-inch cubes, seasoning generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Once hot, add the steak cubes in batches; cook for about 2 minutes on each side until medium doneness. Transfer to a plate.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low; add remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir constantly for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Return the cooked steak to the pan, tossing with the garlic butter sauce until well-coated.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
