  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup fresh pineapple juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and prepare as needed (chop cilantro, mince garlic).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, warm olive oil for about 1 minute.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in the skillet for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2–3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  5. Pour in pineapple juice, soy sauce, honey (or brown sugar), ground ginger, lime juice, salt, and pepper; stir well.
  6. Simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes to meld flavors while keeping shrimp tender.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
