  • 13 oz Smoked Chicken or Turkey Sausage
  • 810 oz Rotini Pasta
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • 1 Sweet Palermo Pepper (diced)
  • 56 Garlic Cloves (minced)
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook rotini pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in the same pot over medium heat. Sauté sliced sausage and chopped onions until browned, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, BBQ sauce, uncooked pasta, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 10–12 minutes until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in parmesan cheese until melted. Serve warm garnished with fresh parsley.
