  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey (or maple syrup)

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts in half horizontally to create four pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Coat the chicken in flour, shaking off any excess.
  3. In a large skillet, heat most of the butter over high heat. Add chicken and sear for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-high, add remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet, stirring briefly.
  5. Pour in vinegar, soy sauce, and honey; stir to combine and simmer for about one minute until slightly thickened.
  6. Turn chicken in the sauce to coat thoroughly before serving.
