  • 1/4 cup + 2 teaspoons cornstarch (divided use)
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup green onions (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Coat the chicken in cornstarch using a resealable plastic bag.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over high heat.
