  • 12 slider rolls (Hawaiian or brioche)
  • 1.5 lbs thinly sliced chicken
  • 1 lb Swiss cheese (sliced)
  • ½ cup dill pickle slices
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp pickle juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and mix in garlic, pickle seasoning, and pickle juice. Set aside.
  3. Grease the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish with some garlic-pickle butter.
  4. Slice the slider rolls horizontally in half while keeping them connected and place the bottom half in the dish.
  5. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard; spread on the top half of the rolls.
  6. Layer sliced chicken, Swiss cheese, and dill pickles on the bottom half; cover with the top half of the rolls.
  7. Brush remaining garlic-pickle butter on top and sprinkle with optional poppy seeds.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for about 10 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Allow cooling slightly before slicing into individual servings.
