  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (for sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • Pita bread or flatbreads for serving

Instructions

  1. To prepare the marinade, combine minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, cayenne (if using), olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add chicken thighs and coat well; refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight.
  2. For the creamy garlic sauce, mix Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, tahini, and salt in another bowl until smooth; refrigerate until serving.
  3. Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat. Grill marinated chicken for about 6–7 minutes on each side until cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
