Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups shredded purple cabbage
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 2 pounds shrimp (deveined)
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • Cilantro lime crema (or sour cream)
  • Avocado or guacamole
  • Lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Prepare the slaw: In a mixing bowl, combine shredded cabbage and diced red onion. Drizzle with olive oil and lime juice, then season with salt and pepper. Toss well.
  2. Cook the shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, then sprinkle Cajun seasoning over the shrimp. Cook for about 2–3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  3. Assemble tacos: Warm the corn tortillas in another skillet or over an open flame. Place cooked shrimp on each tortilla and top with slaw, cilantro lime crema, avocado or guacamole, and other desired toppings.
