  • 1 package white cake mix
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk, divided
  • 3 cups cooked and mashed sweet potatoes
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the white cake mix and toasted pecans. Cut in the cold butter until crumbly. Press into a greased 13×9-inch baking dish.
  3. Beat together cream cheese, sugar, one egg, and 2 tablespoons condensed milk until smooth; set aside.
  4. Combine mashed sweet potatoes, remaining eggs, remaining condensed milk, and pumpkin pie spice in another bowl.
  5. Pour the sweet potato mixture over the brownie base evenly. Dollop cream cheese mixture on top without spreading.
  6. Create swirls with a knife or toothpick through both mixtures.
  7. Bake for about 45 minutes until set and slightly golden.
  8. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
