  • 2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese or cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pound cooked and crumbled chicken sausage
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon granulated garlic or garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, warm the crumbled chicken sausage until heated through.
  3. Layer the frozen tater tots in the baking dish and top with sausage and 1½ cups cheese.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well blended.
  5. Pour egg mixture over layered ingredients and top with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake for 55-60 minutes until eggs are set and top is golden brown.
