  • 4 fresh salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Green onions and toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the marinated salmon on it.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
