- 4 fresh salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Green onions and toasted sesame seeds for garnish
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
- Place the salmon fillets in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the marinated salmon on it.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Drizzle any remaining marinade over the baked salmon and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
